He had his opportunity to change the pronouns, so we have every right to ridicule him again, IMO. _________________ Active

So is it that he feels a real attatchment to his input devices or that his first language made use of genders?
Also as another comment, I'd like to say that I will NEVER use another wireless mouse again. The reason? Not weight, but rather the fact that batteries die. If you've never had your mouse die in the middle of a CS match, trust me when I say it will make you want to punch babies.
More's the pity that many of the good mice these days are going wireless. _________________ (>'.')> |\| 3 \/\/ |3 <('.'<) |

Having your mouse die in the middle of a match is definitely the worst thing a gamer can experience.
However, the Mamba has such an incredibly long charge that you would literally have to play for more than half a day without stopping for this to happen to you.
Every night when I'm done playing I put my mouse back on the docking station, and consequentially I've never had my mouse die on me in over six months.
Even if you're afraid the battery is getting low, it takes all of two seconds to detach the cord from the dock and plug it into your mouse, which I should mention is an instantaneous connection. There's no mouse stutter or loading when you switch between wireless and wired.
As for the keyboard, there are obviously no extra buttons. I knew you probably wouldn't even consider it because of this, but I love the thing so much that I had to make a quick write up.
Also, I'd marry my Mamba if given the chance, so referring to it as a "she" is only natural for me. _________________

I've had this Logitech MX 1000 mouse for probably 7 years. I have never replaced the batteries and they have never died on me. It has a rechargeable base I put it in every evening when I go to bed and it's been amazing. I'm sure I spent several weekends all day on the computer where I'd play for 8 or more hours at a time without the batteries ever getting low.
The braided cords on the Razer mice seem interesting. I will probably need to go to my local Best Buy just to see if they have one sitting out. I have pretty big hands for a girl (piano playing hands!) so if some guys think the Razer mice are too small they might be too small for me.
And yes, I agree that the Razer keyboard is certainly shiny. I love light up keys since we always keep our computer room dark except for the illumination from the monitors. I'm just a creature of habit. _________________ Lady Wenaeleyn - Balance Druid - Lvl 80

The Mamba is not small by any means, it's as large as they come.
This worried me at first, since all of my previous mice were small enough to where I'd have to cup my hand to use it. That always felt normal to me until I finally bought the Razer.
Now, I could never go back to a smaller mouse. The design allows for your entire hand to rest comfortably on the mouse, palm outstretched. Rather ingeniously, the mouse is also curved to give you the option for several different handholds, which Razer goes into more depth about on their website.
Best Buy has the Mamba in the store, or at least mine does, so you can go and see the braided cord for yourself. Honestly, it has grown on me so much that I've been using it wired while at my desk, and unhooking it for the times when I'm on the couch.
Let me guess, you hate how the wires on most mice make them feel heavier, like you're playing tug-of-war, contantly getting caught on things? That's how I felt about them. This cord is so light as to be nonexistant, and because of the braid it keeps its shape, preventing it from twining. My cord stays straight all of the time, meaning that if I move my mouse backward, extending the cable, then forward again, the cable will detract itself appropriately every time.
The range on the wireless setup is superior to most other mice, if that's the method you still prefer in the end. I use mine from all the way across my apt, behind doors, and it still works. Partly because of the boosted strength, partly because it's on a different frequency.
The best part about the backlighting on the Lycosa is that it's not too powerful. I hate the backlit boards that are so bright it's painful to use them in a dark room. The led's on this board have a very soft but noticeable glow, which just happens to match that of my Mamba perfectly.

I hear LSU has a good Peripherals Marketing program. You know, for when the oil dries up. _________________ Active

ROFL White.
And no actually I don't like wired mice because I have a cat that will just lay on the cord. If "getting caught" includes being caught under a cat then yeah.
It's easier to just have a cordless mouse than bother fighting with the kitty! _________________ Lady Wenaeleyn - Balance Druid - Lvl 80

He probably would agree! And there have been times when she's been in my way too much and I've tossed her on the floor with the dogs. They really enjoy that...she not so much. _________________ Lady Wenaeleyn - Balance Druid - Lvl 80
